USGCRP Releases Volume II of Fourth National Climate Assessment

The U.S. Global Change Research Program released Volume II of the Fourth National Climate Assessment on Friday, November 23rd, 2018. It follows the 2017 release of Volume I's Climate Science Special Report and covers the impacts and risks of climate change in the United States as well as adaptation strategies. The report focuses on twelve primary topics and sectors (communities, economy, interconnected impacts, actions to reduce risks, water, health, indigenous peoples, ecosystems and ecosystem services, agriculture, infrastructure, oceans and coasts, and tourism and recreation), with further description of impacts, risks, and adaptation by geographic region. In addition to being available online, the report can be downloaded by chapter or as a whole.
