New Research from MSU and Partners Highlights Potential Impacts of Climate Change on Sagebrush Ecosystems

A research team comprised of scientists and students from Montana State University and partnering universities have developed a fact sheet that describes the potential impacts of climate change on sagebrush ecosystems. Using field observations with ecological models, the researchers looked at what may happen to Artemisia tridentate - big sagebrush - under various climate change scenarios. In addition to the fact sheet, the MSU School of Film and Photography also produced a short film that features insight from scientists and land managers on what may happen to big sagebrush and its surrounding ecosystems in the face of a changing climate.
